One of my favourite things to do is cycle around Stanley Park. The views of the city are amazing and there is always lots of action in the harbour. This is a series of iPad drawings done that tries to capture the feeling of riding around the park. The incredible flowers, the bridges, the ever present ships on the water.
Vancouver has some great neighbourhoods. I live near Edgemont Village, a great place to hang out and have a coffee. Deep Cove is a magical little harbour right on the edge of town. These iPad drawings try and capture the spirit of these unique areas.

This is a iphone drawing done at Ambleside Park. The second is an iPad drawing of Howe Sound on a moody afternoon.
This collection are all Acrylic on Canvas 24x30inches. I live near the Capilano Canyon which has steep cliffs, a roaring river and great walking trails. You would never guess you're just a few kilometres to downtown. Some of the other images are a result of cycling around Vancouver and hiking in the local area. paintings are $800 (frame extra).
